When lighting your candle for the first time, let the candle burn for at least 2- 4 hours to prevent tunneling and establish a wax pool.
When lighting your candle for the first time, let the candle burn for at least 2- 4 hours to prevent tunneling and establish a wax pool.
Trim the candle wick after each burn. This is very important in preventing the candles from smoking on the next burn or from burning the sides of the glass. Invest in a good pair of wick trimmers. Trim the wick to ¼ th to 1/8 th of an inch each time. Trimming the wick also helps to create a small low-temperature flame.
Keep candles away from heat and sunlight, and store them upright to prevent droopy wicks.
Burn in a ventilated area: Keep candles away from drafts and flammable materials.
Extinguish candle with a snuffer, or dip wick into melted wax and then straighten it.
ALWAYS burn within sight. NEVER leave a candle unattended.
Keep away from children and pets: Always keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
Don’t touch the hot wax: Avoid touching the hot wax while or after the candle is burning.
